30 January 2019
London (UK): ImproveWell LTD announces that its CEO and Co-founder, Lara Mott, is a finalist for “Entrepreneur of the Year” in the 2019 edition of the Women in IT Awards, the world’s largest tech diversity event, hosted in London today.
Lara co-founded ImproveWell in 2016 to empower frontline staff to drive change. The software is being used in healthcare organisations across the NHS and in the USA. Lara is an experienced executive having previously spent 11 years in senior roles across healthcare specialist investment, biopharmaceutical, consulting and financial services businesses.
The awards programme, organised by Information Age in partnership with Amazon Web Services, received over 800 nominations this year and is the leading initiative among extensive efforts from the tech world to rectify a gender imbalance that means women occupy just 17% of IT roles in the UK.
